Welcome to Squirreled Mom!

My name is Breanna, but you can call me Bre! I’m a lover of most anything crafty, sporty, foodie, parent-y, pet lover-y and life-y!

On my blog I share stories and tips relating to all of the above (hence the name Squirreled Mom) that I hope you can relate to and maybe even learn from. The stories I share are the culmination of personal experience, reading and learning from other families and asking a lot of questions basically anywhere I go. Not for one minute do I think I know all there is to know about the topics I chit chat about and I feel like I’m learning new things every day. My goal is to write about everything I have learned and continue to learn in hopes of helping even one reader solve a problem they are having, learn something new or share in a good laugh!

Blogging (which is a weird word now that I think about it) is one of my side gigs, as I like to say. I am a full-time working mom, dabble in some rentals and a volleyball business on the side with my husband Paul and once in a while I sell crafty things, if I have extra time. It might sound like a lot, but we go crazy if we sit too long in one spot!

Most importantly, I love being a mom! I started out as a dog mom of our two wonderful furchildren Maddix and Sahara and now I have a sweet baby girl named Loghan. Being a real mommy is new to me but I have experienced more than some moms might in a lifetime! This is why I started my blog. I wanted (maybe more needed) a creative outlet to share the experiences I have gone through as a mom, a wife, a friend and now a family of three.

Why have I experienced more than some moms? When we had our daughter Loghan, she was the light of our lives! Happy and healthy they said, but that wasn’t the case. Four months later our little nugget had to have a major surgery and I learned a lot in the four months leading up to and after her surgery. From breastfeeding to dietary restrictions to dealing with hospitals, I have a lot to share about this mommy business stuff!

Speaking of sharing, please hang out and check out Loghan’s story and browse the rest of my blog.

Thanks for stopping by!
